Oswego Heritage Council is working on creating programs to assist teachers and youth in learning about local history.
We currently have a resource binder that can be accessed by teachers that has the following included:
- Examples of walking/driving Historical Field Trip materials
- Extension project ideas
- Available resources
- Disc of files
It is our hope in the future that we can gather lesson plans using pieces of our collection in order to bring history to life.
We are also hoping to engage high school students with projects that use technology to tell our history. If any high school teachers are willing to work with us, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call (503) 635-6373.
